Business owner John Galop has created many food options and offers more than a dozen types of bagels, including fan favorites cinnamon sugar and cheddar cheese, as well as those of the plain variety.  Seasonal bagels such as peanut butter with chocolate chip, cream cheese, sundried tomato, pumpkin and pumpernickel rye are also served.

Bagels were believed to have been brought to the U.S. by immigrant Jews during the 20th century, with the bread product soon afterward becoming a hot commodity in New York City.  However, a number of bagel producers fled to Florida seeking warmer climates and the opportunity to vacation with friends and families.

John Galop instantly latched onto the dream of one day running his own bagel business.  Being raised in Florida, we would often have people visit from New York and other cities up north.  Just watching them I noticed how they made bagels and how good they were.  From there it has always been something I wanted to do, it has always been a dream of mine.

Customers from all portions of the Upstate have traveled to Broadway Bagels seeking top-notch food and service.
